My fist DT project for Wicked Designs - Light the way

This is my first DT project for this month. I decided to get a go at a simple and sweet christmas card. I used the gorgeous Light the Way digi for my focal point. I colored her with my spectrum noirs (colors will be listed below).

I started off with stampin' up card stock in crumb cake and cut my card base with my Spellbinders labels 22. On top I chose a patternd paper from My Mind's Eye, Christmas Wish and cut that out with the coordinating decorative labels 22, to add some interest. I also stamped some snowflakes from the Lawn Fawn Critters in the Snow and embossed them with silver embossing powder. I glued Light the way right on top.

mouth - CR3

dress - LG2, LG1

shoe - TN5, TN3, CT4, yellow glaze pen

lantern - CT2, CT1, glossy accents, IG3, IG1

For the inside I used a sentiment from MFT Seasonal Sentiments and also embossed it with silver embosing powder.
